Year-round organizing

Congressman Maxwell Frost is one of fewer than five Members of Congress in the country who runs a true year-round organizing program.

For him, organizing is not transactional — it’s transformational.

We’re not just turning people out for an election and disappearing. We are building long-term relationships, developing leaders, and strengthening our community every single day.

What is year-round organizing?

Year-round organizing means we show up whether there’s an election on the ballot or not. There is always work to be done with building relationships, solving problems, and strengthening the fabric of our community.

Our organizing program partners with local candidates running for school board, county commission, city commission, state house, state senate, and more. We work in partnership, not competition, because lasting change requires collaboration.

Each semester, we also hire fellows and train young organizers — giving them hands-on experience in field work, voter contact, and campaign strategy.

We are building a pipeline of campaign workers and movement leaders in Central Florida and across the country.

WHY Organizing?

Real change comes from people. Organizing is how communities turn frustration into power and power into results. It’s how we expand the electorate, train new leaders, and build movements that outlast any single election. When you organize, you don’t just win campaigns — you transform communities.

Before serving in Congress, Congressman Frost was an organizer. He began his career in the gun violence prevention movement, working with organizations like March For Our Lives and later serving as National Organizing Director for a leading gun violence prevention group. He went on to organize with the ACLU, mobilizing communities around civil rights, voting rights, and justice reform.

That organizing background shapes everything we do. This campaign was built on people power — and we continue to invest in organizing because it’s how real, lasting change happens.

We’re empowering the next generation of Democrats.

Fellowship Opportunities

Interested in becoming a fellow? Each semester, our campaign hires and trains fellows who want hands-on experience in organizing, field strategy, and movement building. Fellows work directly with our organizing team while developing the skills needed to run and win campaigns.
